Also, all those programs—not to mention the constantly varied workouts and technique we were taught—were designed by men, for male bodies.

Hi, I’m Crystal!

Hi, I’m Crystal! 💁🏼‍♀️💪🏼 I’m a strength training coach and personal trainer with a background in Kinesiology and somatic therapy. 

I’ve spent over a decade coaching Olympic weightlifting, empowering women to get really—really—strong. 👀 I’m proud to be a female coach in strength sports, and I’m even prouder to bring you a program that’s all about lifting heavy sh*t and and building up them cakes. 🍑

  • Cakes by Crystal is for burnt-out gym babes who are tired of being told to “just push harder” and want a program that balances strength with recovery. If you’re looking to get stronger without burning out, this is for you.

  • You’ll need access to a fully equipped gym—barbell, bumper plates, squat rack, and a few additional tools like dumbbells, cable pulleys, a bench, and bands for accessory work.

  • Each session is 55-75 minutes of training, plus 10-15 minutes of mobility or recovery work. The program is designed to fit into a busy schedule without sacrificing results, but it depends on how heavy you lift.

  • You’ll receive weekly programming that builds over 6-12 week cycles. Each cycle focuses on building strength with a precise balance of work and recovery. The program evolves, so you’ll never plateau.

  • Yes! You’ll have access to an extensive library of exercise demonstrations, plus coaching cues to ensure you’re moving safely and building strength properly.

  • If you feel like you need personalized modifications, it's probably better (and safer) for you to work with a trainer in person.
