Here's what most people don't realize: your body isn't keeping score of workouts separately from everything else. The hard session, the bad night's sleep, the stressful week, the skipped meals — it all goes into the same pot. That's called allostatic load. And when the load keeps building without enough true recovery in between, your body starts sending signals.
This month, we're practicing what recovery actually looks like, through movement that restores instead of depletes, breath that downregulates instead of drives, and honest check-ins that help you respond to your load instead of just push through it.
