After Nearly 10 Years, I'm Closing the MVMNT Membership
After nearly 10 years, the MVMNT membership will be closing on August 7, 2026.
I've been sitting with how to write this for a while. Not because I don't know what to say, but because it's not something I wanted to rush through or reduce to a quick announcement. So here it is, properly.
What MVMNT Was Built to Be
I started MVMNT in 2016 with a simple idea: movement should be accessible, supportive, and something people could come back to every day. Not punishing. Not fear-based. Not contingent on being a certain size, fitness level, or athletic background.
Just movement: available, sustainable, and built around the way real people actually live.
Over the years that idea became a thousand daily routines, programs, challenges, and workbooks. It became a community of people from dozens of countries showing up for themselves, some of them every single day, for years.
Where It Landed
Looking back now, nearly a decade later, I can honestly say I did what I set out to do. And that's a strange, and really beautiful, place to land.
But I have to be honest about the other half: somewhere along the way, MVMNT became the part of my coaching I felt safe sharing, and only that part. It captured a fragment of what I actually do, and staying inside that fragment started to cost me something. Closing it isn't giving up on what I built. It's refusing to keep shrinking to fit it.
This community has meant more to me than I can put into words. Every routine, every challenge, every time someone showed up for themselves. That's what MVMNT was always about. Watching people move with more ease, more confidence, and less fear has been the privilege of my career.
What I'll carry with me is the people who pressed play on the hard days, who sent messages about what movement gave back to them, who kept showing up even when life made it hard. That's everything.
What's Not Going Away
Because accessibility was always the point, the Daily MVMNT videos aren't disappearing. I'll be moving some of them to YouTube so you can still press play and move with me every day, for free, without a membership, whenever you need it.
That part of the mission isn't going anywhere.
For Current Members: What You Need to Do
If you have a semi-annual or yearly subscription, you don't need to do anything. I will cancel your membership for you.
If you're paying monthly, you'll need to cancel your membership manually. How you cancel depends on how you signed up:
Online membership: log in to your account through a web browser at mobilitymvmnt.com:
→ Go to your account in the top right corner → Click on your name → Click on the Purchases tab → Click Manage Plan → Click End Membership
Apple/iOS membership:
→ Go to your iPhone Settings → Tap your name → Subscriptions → Find MVMNT → Tap Cancel Subscription
Google Play membership:
→ Open the Google Play app → Tap your profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → Find MVMNT → Tap Cancel
Not sure how you signed up? Check the MVMNT app (More → Account → Purchases) or your original purchase receipt. It'll be from either Apple, Google, or MVMNT directly.
If you subscribed through the website, your billing stops automatically when the membership closes, but it's best to cancel manually before your next billing cycle so you're not paying for anything after MVMNT closes.
IMPORTANT: If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, Apple and Google manage that billing independently, which means you'll need to cancel through them directly to stop future charges.
I really don't want anyone to get an unexpected charge, so please take a moment to cancel if you signed up through an app.
I'll be sending out a couple more reminders about this.
What's Shifting for Me
I'm stepping into something I've been building toward quietly for years: fully reclaiming the strength coach in me. The one who lives on the weightlifting platform, who cares as much about your recovery and your nervous system as your PRs, and who believes you can chase mastery without abandoning yourself to get it.
I'll share the details in the months ahead. But that's the through-line, and I'm done keeping it quiet.
A Note on This Decision
I also want to be honest: this is the right decision and it still feels really hard.
MVMNT isn't just a product. It's something I've cared about deeply for a long time. There's both clarity and grief here, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
Closing something you built, something that worked, something that mattered... is its own kind of bittersweet. But clarity is a gift, and I'm following it, even when it's painful.
Thank You
If you've ever pressed play on a MVMNT video, completed a program, downloaded a workbook, or just followed along: thank you. You were part of something real.
And if you've ever pressed play at 6am in your kitchen, half-awake, mad about it, and moved anyway... you're my people.
If you want to keep moving with me, I'll be on YouTube. That's where the daily movement content will live going forward, and I'd love to have you there.
Thank you for being part of MVMNT.
Crystal
P.S. (TLDR)
The membership access runs through August 7, 2026. Use it fully.
If you want to keep moving with me, I'll be sharing daily MVMNT routines and more over on YouTube.
That's where I'll be putting my energy for now, and I'd love to have you there.
You won't be able to download video assets, but you can download the monthly workbooks from the Daily MVMNT under the Resources tab.
Please do this before August 7 if there's anything you want to keep.
